Material Reuse
Offcuts used for packing & protection, nothing is wasted.
Material Recycling
Final waste materials further recycled for the manufacture of particleboard.
MDF fibre material is generated from Managed Renewable Plantation Pine and is fabricated locally within Australia.
MDF is the most cost-effective, sustainable, and versatile substrate material available. Suitable for prefinished low-pressure laminate, veneer, and paint.
eurodoors work with suppliers to have MDF sheets laid to project specific custom sizes where possible, to minimise material wastage which inevitably contribute to landfill.
Finishes: Prefinished low pressure laminate melamine finishes, polyurethane painted finishes, timber veneered finishes.
Most timber veneers are independently certified to be from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources. They have all the beauty and warmth that can only come from using real timber. At the same time, the FSC/ PEFC Certification gives the certainty that trees are being regrown to give continuing supply in perpetuity, the FSC and PEFC certification.
Most species are available with PEFC and FSC certification.
Finishes: Natural and eco-cert timber veneer finishes.
Like timber veneer, the timber used by eurodoors are mostly from suppliers who source their raw material from renewable forests.
Finishes: PEFC and FSC certified timber species.
eurodoors has its own inhouse polishing and baking facility, where we only use low Volatile Organic Compounds (Low VOC) based materials.
All spraying is carried out offsite in our Sydney based factory in our filtered spray booths.
Where possible europanel uses water based solvent finishes as they contain no formaldehyde and can be less harmful to the environment.
Finishes: Polyurethane colours, clear finishes, and stain finishes.
